As promised, I've completed the Event Evaluation sheet. This form may be even more important than the planning sheet. I've learned over the years that experience isn't the best teacher, evaluated experience is.
I created this form to not only help the person who planned the event, but to assist those who come along after they leave and have to do the same type of event again. Consider it a gift to those who follow you in your leadership. Let them know how things went when you were in charge. It will help them to avoid some of the same obstacles that you faced.
The evaluation sheet covers such things as...
• Where you spent money on the event.
• Positives of the event.
• Negatives of the event.
• Important contact information.
• Key people and responsibilities that they were assigned.
• A place to jot down your "if I could do it all over again" thoughts.
Because I feel like these are such valuable resources for student leaders, both in starting well and finishing well, I'm going to post them over on the sidebar [left side - studentl.inc tools] of the studentl.inc blog for easy access. But you can also download it here.
Thank you very much for the sheet. I was able to use it in my activity. It really helped me.
